Denise Gordon was my listing agent and I can tell you she is absolutely the best real estate agent I have worked within any of my moves. In this particular situation, we were faced with a tough market and had worked with three other agents before we met Denise. Denise quickly understood what was necessary to market the home well. She rolled up her sleeves and executed a well-rounded plan which resulted in an immediate, significant rise in the number of showings. This is despite her getting the listing during the end-of-year holidays. After a couple of months with Denise, we got our first offer (despite being on the market for a year beforehand). Denise was fantastic in guiding us through purchasing our first home! She was very knowledgeable about our target area and combed through every listing possible in our budget (very small for South Charlotte). Denise treated us with the same, and better, attention and patience I would expect if we were purchasing a home many times more expensive. After viewing at least 10 other properties, literally everything in our budget in the area, Denise encouraged us to view a property about 10% above our budget. When walking through the house, we initially wrote off the property as too expensive. Little did we know Denise was not trying to get us to spend more but was simply confident in her negotiating. When we submitted an offer 10% under ask, the seller accepted! Denise is a great agent and we look forward to working with her again in the future!
